I think we actually pulled one over on Sister Harris! For weeks we had planned on switching one of our activities out and doing a surprise 'mock' baby shower for her. We secretly got the word around to the girls....and it worked! I think she was surprised. We played some fun games, first we played the standard 'how big is Sister Harris' belly' game using yarn. We had some pretty interesting guesses....

Forgotten Carols
Last week we got to attend the Forgotten Carols in St George. All I can say is AMAZING!! Everyone should see this at least once. It was a fun and crazy trip. We were extremely happy that Britney and Brooke got to meet us there but were sad for those that couldn't make it. Who knows..maybe next year?!

A few more special moments from Secret Santa Night
I finally got one of the videos to upload. It appears to be a strange group of kids singing "Jingle Bells"
Combined Activity...Secret Santa
Sister Ence put together a fabulous activity for the young men and women. We started the evening by dividing into 4 groups and being secret santas to those young men and women we don't get to see very often. We just wanted them to know that even though we don't see them very often that they're still in our thoughts and miss them when they're not there. There were so many great pictures that I decided to post them all into one slide show. We ended the night with a beautiful rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by Jessica Baeza, unfortunately I couldn't get the video to upload, but as soon as I do I'll get it up for the whole ward to see.

Standards Night!
Tonight the whole stake youth had standards night. I was at the Whipple Chapel and the kids there seemed to have a great time. There was a wonderful lesson about dating and then the kids were instructed to go into the cultural hall and have a seat at one of the prepared tables....alternating girls and boys! To top if off all of the kids were tied together at the wrist and had to work together to eat their meals. Unfortunately I was unprepared and didn't bring my camera. So, just try and picture that. Hilariously funny! Fun, fun night!!

Baking Bread
Some of the girls wanted to make bread for the sacrament as one of their personal progress activities. So, we all met at Sister Ence's house to make bread.

Our Very First Posting!
We're so exicted to have our very own blog where we can show our friends and family as well as our young women who live out of town what we've been up to. Last week we got together and created some very ooey, gooey halloween treats!
